Pastor Ken Punter

Married to Cathy and a father to David, Stephanie, Louise, Ross and Daniel, Ken has been pastoring at Bicester Baptist Church since his ordination in 2007. Ably trained by missionary Pastor Arvin Devers at Glasgow over several years, Pastor Ken has a passion to teach the Bible in a clear and effective manner, and aims to dispel the religious confusion of our present day.

Pastor Ken has a scientific background, having been trained in medical and environmental microbiology, and as a result has developed a particular interest in the creation/evolution issue, where he defends the creationist standpoint.

The pastorship of Bicester Baptist Church was handed over to Ken by missionary Pastor Ben Wharton. Until Pastor Ken’s appointment, the church had been under missionary leadership since its inception in the 1980’s.
